Urban Playground Festival:
A Two-Day Celebration
The Urban Playground Foundation hosts an annual festival the weekend after Labor Day. The two-day festival celebrates active urban living in Milwaukee and donates 100% of proceeds to Milwaukee’s recreational opportunities, including: Oak Leaf Trail, Urban Ecology Center, Milwaukee County Parks and neighborhood respites.

In an effort to expand the activities, offer a second stage and provide a more flat street surface, Urban Playground moved the festival from Brady Street to Downer Avenue. The festival will take place on Hackett Avenue, Belleview Place, Downer Avenue, and Park Place. The Downer Avenue Merchant’s Association and the renaissance of the Legendary East Side Neighborhood will be highlighted at the festival as well.
